Incompetence?!

I'm shocked, shocked to find incompetence is going on in BCPSS! (Apologies to Capt. Renault)

The news about the bungled BCPSS budget just hit the news. It should really come as no surprise. The school system is notoriously bad. Having been employed by the system for 13 years, I have experienced just how incompetent it is. There is no wonder that the children are not achieving. Certainly there are other issues at play, but the system is failing our children, miserably. The powers that be are constantly making bad decisions and, then, spending time, energy and money to cover their asses. If they would focus more on doing the right thing to educate the children and support the teachers, the kids might have a chance. As it is, it seems so hopeless.
